The mission of this support group is to provide information and support to parents who have raised a child on the autism spectrum and are anticipating or working toward assisting him or her with the transitions to high school, college, adulthood and the appropriate level of maximum personal independence. Parents of younger children on the spectrum are welcome to attend. We are striving to create a community of caring parents that will locate or create the support these young adults need as they navigate adulthood. Dover, NH: Children’s Museum of NH Autism Partnership Program, Exploring Our Way @ Children's Museum of NH

Exploring Our Way is held on the first Sunday of each month (except July and August) from 10 am – noon for families raising a child with Autism. This program provides opportunities to enjoy family time at the museum in a safe, understanding environment, allows parents to network with one another, and will help families discover new resources. Museum Advanced Planning Picture Stories (MAPPS) are available. Admission is free.

Kiddos will do relationship building interventions together and work on their social skills while the adults work together to brainstorm what works and what doesn’t work with home life, schools, and community settings.
